One Down Four to Go

Well, Monday's down and I only have four more days to go in paradise. Obviously, I'm joking. Any place where the cable television goes out when it rains is hardly paradise. Yep, you heard it - no television. I have officially missed Hell's Kitchen because of a little rain storm. Also, just in case the state of Rhode Island hasn't heard - it is considered good manners to let people OUT of an elevator before you rush in.

I am also officially still tired. I'm sleeping, I swear, so why can't I get "caught up." Any ideas for feeling refreshed guys?????? I got a full 8 hours last night and still feel like death.

I DID start on a new wip last night. And it's NOT a humorous, contemporary, romance/mystery hybrid. (quite a mouthful) We'll see if I ever do anything with it, but I couldn't stop the nagging, so I figured I'd write until I fell asleep. And I literally did that - fell asleep with my hands on the keyboard. Thank goodness for autosave.

Oh well, must wet hair and find coffee. The day's afoot!

Have you ever tried that Emergen-C powder? You mix it with water and it is like a mega dose of C. I take it whenever I feel the sick coming on or if I'm just dragging. Seems to help. You can get it at the most drug stores here.

Oooh - and it was a double episode of Hell's Kitchen last night, too. They're down to the final two. But I won't tell you which ones. Not sure about the energy thing. Usually I just try for extra sleep - whether it's going to bed early (weeknights) or sleeping in (weekends), though I can't say I've been good about either. If you come up with something, let me know!

Hi Jaye - I might give that a try, although I take Vitamin C tablets and Airborne because of the traveling thing, so I'm not sure it will make a difference. Of course, at this point, I'm not sure if an IV of straight ephedra would help, either.

Hi Leah - Oh bummer on the Hell's Kitchen! My husband records it for me but now I'll have to wait until the weekend to know. (pout) If I come up with an energy solution, I will let you know. I'm sure your schedule is as bad as mine. :)

Phuttt...I can't remember the last time I woke up feeling refreshed and good! I think you're exhausted and need a vacation - but what do I know? Take care of yourself, dear Jana. And if you do find anything that helps, please do let ME know!

I'll be back to blogging soon - hopefully! One of the reasons I haven't written online lately is - because I too - am exhausted! (((HUGS)))) from me too!

hi sassy - it's good to hear from you! I figured you had a lot going on right now, but I'm glad to know you're still hanging in there. :)

I would agree with you on the need for vacation, but the last two I've taken, I attended writer's conferences - hardly a restful situation although a ton of fun and great for business. Maybe I need a vacation from my vacation.

Or there's always winning the lottery. Winning the lottery would solve a lot......
